University of Catania
Founded in 1434, the University of Catania offers an attractive portfolio of academic titles and is engaged in creating a “laboratory” in which the ancient knowledge of the Mediterranean culture meets the new technologies.
The University of Catania has 17 departments, the Faculty of Medicine, and two special didactic units in Modern Languages and Architecture.
All the departments, in addition to the traditional assignments of scientific research, are in charge of the organization and management of educational activities. Departments combine theoretical education with practical work experience, offering internships as part of their degree studies.
