Mongolian National University of Arts and Culture

The Mongolian National University of Arts and Culture (MNUAC) is a national university that was established in 1990. It is dedicated to providing education, research, and art activities in the field of culture and art. MNUAC aims to prepare experts who value national culture and art, possess the ability to promote, preserve, and enhance Mongolian cultural heritage, and compete in various forms of art worldwide. The university aspires to be among the top art educational institute in Asia.

Vision: To become a specialized university of culture and art, recognized as one of the best university in the region.

Mission: To serve as the primary source of Mongolian national culture and art, nurturing talented creators, exceptional artists, and specialists in the field of culture and art. MNUAC also conducts research to support the government’s cultural and artistic policies.

Motto: Leading to properity

MNUAC consists of six schools: the School of Dance Arts, the Academy of Fine Arts, the School of Media and Broadcasting, the School of Culture, the School of Theater Arts, and the School of Music Arts. Additionally, it includes the Institute of Culture and Art Studies, “Badmaarag” high school with specialized art training, and a kindergarten.

The university offers a total of 67 educational programs, including 30 bachelor’s, 35 master’s, and 2 doctoral programs. Nineteen undergraduate programs are accredited by the Mongolian National Council for Education Accreditation. Furthermore, 20 bachelor’s and 14 master’s programs have been updated to align with the results-based education method.

MNUAC actively engages in various activities that contribute to social welfare, in addition to its teaching, research, and artistic endeavors. Both teachers and students participate in promoting Mongolia through national and international festivals, concerts, and events attended by international guests.
